Mackey Lloyd French, 63, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, in the Holston Valley Medical Center Kingsport, TN. with his family by his side.

Mackey retired from the Coeburn Middle School of 33 years of employment. He was a hardworking and dedicated man. He loved life to the fullest, he loved the outdoors and fishing. He loved his family dearly and was highly involved with his granddaughter's sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Covey Jack & Merell Sue French, his sister, Brenda Rose and his brother, Covey French Jr.

Surviving is his wife, Winona French; daughter, Melissa French of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughter, Adsila Ndiaye of Coeburn, VA. a sister, Peggy McFall of Clintwood, VA. a brother, Danny French of Clintwood, VA. nephews from which he raised, Billy Coffey and Sebastian Coffey both of Coeburn, VA.

The Family will receive friends 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the Coeburn Middle School 518 Centre Ave NE Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow at 7 P.M. in the auditorium with Rev. R.L. Crawford officiating.

Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, VA. The family and friends will meet at 10 A.M.
