NORTON, VA.                             NOVEMBER 30, 2021

Lottie Joan (Joann) Jessee, 87, left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She attended Hopkins Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Sterling E. Jessee; parents, Delmer (Deb) and Sylvania (Cee) Jones Mullins; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jessee and brothers, Jimmy Mullins and J.D. Mullins.

Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda Addison and husband Ronnie; three sons, Sterling David Jessee, Randall Lee Jessee and Darrell Wayne Jessee and wife Jamie; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a special nephew she thought of as a son, James (Jimmy) Jessee; special friends, Phyllis Hunsucker and Brenda Bolling; two special nurses, Doris and Janette and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Joan Jessee will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Mike Hunsucker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2021 in the Hill Family Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 A.M.
