Lloyd "Bo" Hibbitts, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.

Bo was a 1974 graduate of J.J. Kelly High School and attended Bethel Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Bo was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hibbitts; his grandmothers, Trilby Hibbitts and Etta Hall; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Madeline Mullins; and sister-in-law, Betty Lee Stipes.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Hibbitts; daughter, Chesleigh Hibbitts; mother, Irene Hibbitts; aunts, Eula Lawson and Katherine Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Lois Hibbitts; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Cecil Collins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Becky Mullins; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Stipes; nieces and nephew, Carla Lape and boyfriend Patrick Carter, Leslie and David Villanueva, Roger and Jenny Mullins, Stephanie and David Amos, and Marcie Mullins; very special great nieces and nephew, Mia Villanueva, Alexis Mullins, Owen Amos, Eliza Amos, Anna Mullins and Laycie Amos; he also leaves behind his grand-dog Strider; and very special friends, Fred Strouth, Dalton Strouth, Allen Graham, Chris Graham, Robert Owens, Clyde Owens, Pete Thacker, and Gary Bevins.

Funeral services for Lloyd "Bo" Hibbitts will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Randy Sturgill and Rev. Allen Graham officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hubbard's Chapel Youth Group, 9540 Bold Camp Road, Pound, VA 24279.
