Linda Teresa Squires, age 77 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at her residence.

Teresa was born on April 13, 1948, in Orlando, FL, daughter of the late James Lester Hubbard, SR and Nellie Morrison Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Sturgill; and brother, James Lester Hubbard, II. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Teresa is survived by her husband, James Squires; three sons, Robbie Sturgill, Frank Sturgill, Michael Sturgill; daughter, Sarah Wimpy; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Larry Hayes officiating.
