Lila Kay Smith Hall, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021 at her residence. She was a Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She was of the Christian Faith.

Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin C. Hall Sr. (AC); parents, Rex D. and Mildred Slaughter Smith; sisters, Nancy Smith Ambs and Joyce Irene Smith; nephew, Michael Collins Sweet; and a niece, Sherry Rae Hall.

Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Phillips and husband Duane; sons, Alvin C. Hall, Jr. "Chet" and wife Susan, Chris Hall and Rex Hall; grandchildren, Genie Hamilton and husband John, Kayley Church and husband Caleb, Leigh Ann Stanley and husband Cody, Sarah Hall, Michaela Hall, Dylan Hall, Ethan Hall and "honorary" Dalton Austin; great-grandchildren, Evan Brickey, Emilee Brickey and Emmitt Wade Church; sisters, Elizabeth Smith (Martin) and Mary Lou Vasconellos;

brother-in-law, Robert Ambs; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Pam Sweet; sisters-in-laws, Hazel Hall and Lois Hall; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Lila Kay Hall will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Cliff Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
