Leota S. Barker, 84, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

She was a member of the Hopkins Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, where she served as treasurer, and she was a former bookkeeper at Daniel’s Plumbing and Heating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; daughter, Janet; son, Michael; and her parents, Lavina and William Stallard.

Surviving are her son, William Scott; granddaughters, Kristin and Devony; grandsons, Brandon, Ryan and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Caden, Henley and Phoenix.
