Larry Wayne Collins, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Larry was born in Norton, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Ruth Collins; his father, Kenneth Bud Collins; sister, Carol Mullins; brothers, Ronnie Collins, and Delbert Collins; and a special friend, Regina Clark Jackson.

Surviving are his sisters, Diane Hurd and husband "Roger", Jeanette Robinette and husband Cecil, Cathi Sensing and husband Barry, and Betty Mullins and husband Stacy; brother, Kenny Collins and wife Becky and Bubby, who was like his brother; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Larry loved his family and God.

Funeral services for Larry Collins will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Owen Powers Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to Sturgill Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1068 Wise, VA 24293.
