Lana Boggs, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.

She was a member of the Stevens Church of God in Wise.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Boggs; mother, Doris Blankenbecler Boggs; brother, Roger S. Boggs; and a very special niece, Leslie Boggs Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Charlotte Baker and husband Winston of Wise; special sister-in-law, Connie Boggs of Wise; her niece, Heather Hughes Clisso and great-nephew, Daniel Clisso, all of Wise; her nephews, Doug Baker and wife Anna and Jerry Baker, all of Wise; great-nephews, Aaron Baker and Jonathan Baker of Wise; great-niece, Rachael McGinnis, Allison Baker of Wise, and Katelyn Baker of Norton; great-great-nephews, Gabe Baker, Landry McGinnis, and Avery Baker; great-great-nieces, Alayna, Elsie, and Harlow Baker, and Emersyn McGinnis, all of Wise; a very special cousin, Linda Parks of Abingdon, VA; special friends, Sheila Sturgill of Norton and Judy Pollard of Wise; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Lana Boggs will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Sidney Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenbecler Family Cemetery in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
