CHILLICOTHE, OH                                       JUNE 27, 2025

Kile Vinsen Mullins, 77, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 20, 1947, to the late Hattie and Dock Mullins, served as a MP in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a retired construction worker for Mullins Construction Company.

Kile was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Martin-Mullins; brothers, Bob, Cecil, Elmer and Ola Gene Mullins; and sister, Pauline Mullins.

Surviving are his three daughters, Tyleah (Dustten) Alley, Jane Mullins, and Donn (Joseph) Brust, all of Chillicothe, Ohio; brothers, Ottis (Juanita) Mullins and Darrell (Elisa) Mullins; sister, Edith Davis; sister-in-law, Gaye Mullins, all of Wise, Virginia; brother-in-law, John Martin of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jordan Riffitt, Jacob Paul, Kyle Brust of Chillicothe, Ohio, Alexandria (Steven) Castle of Jackson, Ohio and Chelsea Brust of Williamsport, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Odessa Yarbrough of Chillicothe, Ohio, Ember Castle of Jackson, Ohio, Maddy and Caleb Pence of Williamsport, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at the Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute for the care and compassion that was shown to our father during this most difficult time. He was so much loved, and his presence will forever be missed.

Funeral services for Kile Mullins will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA with Rev. Ricky Mullins, Sr. officiating. Graveside committal services and burial will follow in the Mullins Family Cemetery in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
