Kenneth Wayne Pickett,72; went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Upper Room Worship Center in Castlewood Va.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mattie Pickett and father Kenneth Pickett, brother Robert Pickett, sister Eunice Robinson and his favorite uncle Shular "Peewee" Litton.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Wanda Gayle Pickett, sons, Richard Pickett and Rodney Pickett and his Daughter Rebecca Pickett. His grandchildren Daniel & Trista Ball, Cody Pickett, Adryon Hollyfield, Tyler & Brittany Wick, Hannah Pickett, Hailey & Harry Miller, 7 great grandkids: Dani, Jaxson, Addi, Cayden, Cayson, Harley and one on the way. He had a host of nieces and nephews that considered him their Papaw. One sister Brenda Pickett Duty. His cousins he considered brothers, Johnny Pickett, and Donnie Pickett. A special cousin Sandy Lawson.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 12:30 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Upper Room Worship Center 117 Rejoice Lane Castlewood, Virginia 24224.
