It is with great sorrow that the Rose family announces the passing of Julie Ann Rose age 53 of Coeburn, Virginia, on Thursday, November 28th, 2024. She was born in Wayne, Michigan, and is the daughter of Margaret Elizabeth Rose and Joseph Marion Rose Sr. of Coeburn, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her father, Joe; her brother, Joseph Marion Rose Jr., of Coeburn, Virginia; and by a best friend, Vera Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia. Survivors include her mother Margaret Elizabeth Rose; her daughters, Megan Elizabeth Greear and Amanda Dawn Brickey, both of Coeburn, Virginia; a son-in-law, Chandler Brickey; her nephews, James "Jimmy" Rose of Westland, Michigan, and Cody Rose of Coeburn, Virginia; her Aunt, Jane Gnas of Coeburn, Virginia; a best friend, Rebecca "Becky" Hicks of Coeburn, Virginia; and several other family members residing in Michigan and Alabama.

Julie worked at Walmart and Verizon for the majority of her career. It was through these places of employment that Julie met several of her lifelong friends. Julie had a unique personality, rich with witty jokes, which once you got to know, you couldn't go without. Julie was very adventurous and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors, especially with her daughters. She also enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles which she often did with her daughters, her brother, and friends. Julie relied heavily on her faith in God, especially throughout all of her health issues, and she was looking forward to the day God would call her home to meet her Dad and Brother in Heaven.
