Judy Gaye Buchanan, 73, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in the Heritage Hall Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Destie Stanley Large; her husband, Larry Buchanan; several brothers and a sister.

Surviving is two sons, Kevin Blevins of bland, VA. and Jeremy (Amber) Buchanan of Knoxville, TN. two daughters, Karen (Rodney) Younce, and Missy (Rodney) Collins both of Wise, VA. two brothers, David (Debbie) Large of Wise, VA. and Larry (Debbie) Large of Pound, VA. three sisters, Annis Pannell of Pound, VA. Betty (Bob) Cook of King George, VA., and Patty (Kevin) Roberts of Florida; seven grandchildren, Justin Blevins, Raina Dotson, Nick Kinser, Bryson Collins, Baylee Collins, Axl Buchanan, and Monroe Buchanan; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2022, 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Carrol Childress officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, VA.
