Judy Ann Bravo, 72, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Norton Community Hospital. Judy was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandma, aunt, and friend who loved her family more than anything. Judy was a Navy wife who raised three sons and still found time to go back to school to finish her education. She worked in accounting for the corporate offices of large supermarket chain in Florida, took cake decorating classes so that she could make beautiful and creative cakes for her family and friends, and looked after her grandbabies as often as she could. After moving from Florida back to Virginia to live closer to her mother, brothers, and sisters, she spent her time helping her family and taking care of everyone she loved. She was an avid reader, loved her fur babies (the dogs Speedy, Roxy, Scooter, Jenny, and Rosie the cat), and enjoyed planning family get-togethers and cooking meals for those she loved.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Abelardo "Buddy" Bravo; mother, Roma Arch; brothers Earl Taylor, Junior Taylor, David Taylor, and Timmy Taylor; her sister Arliss Greene and brother-in-law Roger Greene; and nephew Michael Tarlitt.

She is survived by her sisters Vickie Stratton and RomaJean Speers (William "Bill"); sons and daughters-in-law, Brandon Bravo (Elisha), Antionce Bravo (Gladys Sierra), Cardion Bravo (Heather); grandchildren, Jary Sierra, Brandon-Christopher Bravo, Jazmyn Hill (Hunter), Antionce T Bravo, Alexus Bravo, Acadia Bravo (Nico Galdona), Dacuma Bravo, and Cannon Bravo; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dominic, and Spencer Hill and Jayden and Elias Soto; nieces, Susan Hall (Chet), Brandy Ingerick (James), and Shauna Barker; nephews, Caleb Stratton (Tashina) and Steven Lee Barker, III (Chelsea); and a host of friends that were just like family to her.

Funeral services for Judy Bravo will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. till time of services at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
