Joseph Donald Stallard (Joe Don), 73, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, very suddenly and unexpected on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed beyond words.

Joe worked as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years.

Joe Loved God, his country and his family. He was a proud Army Veteran having served in Vietnam and Germany 1967-1970. He was a Sergeant in the Army and received several medals for merit and bravery.

He was the son of the late, Rolley Edward and Juanita Virginia Gilliam Stallard.

Surviving are his loving wife of almost 50 years, Sherry Lynn Stallard; daughters whom he adored, Kimberly Jo Stallard of Wise, VA and Bridgette Lynn Stallard of Wise, VA; a brother, Mack Stallard of Sneedville, TN; brother-in-law, David Harding of Appalachia, VA; brother-in-law, Robert Hickox of Polk City, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

All services will be private. Burial will be in Round Top Cemetery in Wise, VA. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the charity of ones choice.
