Jonathan David Miller, 67, was ushered home on Friday, January 6, 2023 by a band of Angels singing Amazing Grace.

He was a hard worker and a firm believer in being ready so you don't have to get ready.

Johnny was preceded in death by his infant baby, Stacy Lee Miller; his parents, Frank and Ruth Miller; siblings, Violet Miller Jones, Donnie F. Miller, Paul E. Miller, Harold E. Miller and Margaret A. Miller.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Janice (Phillips) Miller; sons, Nathan B. Miller and Brandon D. Miller; grandson, Austin L. Miller; brothers, Bobby G. Miller and Randy C. Miller; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces; mother-in-law, Mattie Phillips, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jonathan Miller will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Alvin Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
