Jimmy Darrell Orender, 61, went home to be with the Lord and his mother on Sunday, February 12, 2023 after battling health issues for some a while.

He was a Deacon and a big part of The Old Path Church in Wise. He loved to sing, joke, have barbeques, hunting, fishing and loved all his family.

Surviving are his loving wife of 23 years, Regina Orender; 5 sons, Joshua Lee Orender of Coeburn, Jason Mullins and wife Allison of Coeburn, Jacob Allen Orender of Indianapolis, IN, Joseph Daniel Orender of Coeburn and Jimmy Mullins of Coeburn; daughter, Holley Phipps of Indianapolis, IN; 9 grandchildren; sister, Tammy Morgan Berzenye of Indianapolis, IN; brother, James Ray Morgan of IA; uncle like a dad, Sammy Vanover and wife Nancy of Wise and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jimmy Orender will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel, Wise, VA with Pastor David Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Jessee Cemetery in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise.
