Jessica Dawn Strong, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at her home after being in a car wreck on December 24, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dewey and Inez Sturgill and Ervin and Mabel Reeves.

Surviving are her daughter, Hailey Strong; her mother, Mazy Reeves; father, Vernon Reeves; brother, Brian (Amanda) Reeves; three nieces; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services for Jessica Strong will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Gary Hill officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. In lieu of flowers, family requests for memorial contributions be made to Sturgill Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1068 Wise, VA 24293.
