Jenny Lee Wampler, 48 passed away January 4, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Jenny was a veteran of the United States Navy where she served our country during the 1990's. Jenny is a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School and the University of Virginia at Wise. Jenny was an employee of Environmental Monitoring Inc. here in Wise County for the past 16 years. Jenny and her family attended Wise Baptist Church and was a devout Christian who served her church and community.

Jenny was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Goldie and Robert Yates;    grandparents, Lonnie and Virginia Hopkins and uncle, Michael Wayne Hopkins.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Russell Wampler; two sons, Miles and Mason; brother, Michael Yates; nephew, Jesse Yates; mother, Beverly Diane Hopkins Mullins and stepfather Lacy Mullins; father, Bobby Lee Yates and stepmother Betty Yates; multiple aunts; uncles; her two dogs she loved, Pepper and Hera and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for  Jenny Lee Wampler will be conducted on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Wise Baptist Church, 211 Spring Ave NE, Wise, VA 24293 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Winters officiating. Burial with military rights will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA. Family will receive friends 12:00 P.M. till time at services at 1:00 P.M.
