James "Tony" Kring, 68, loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

He was a 1974 graduate of Madison Consolidated School in Madison, IN and attended Mountain Empire Community College.

Tony enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing softball, and many other activities and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Kring; and daughter-in-law, Christina Kring.

Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Sarah Asbury Kring; mother, Dorothy R. Kring; two sons, James Kring and Grady Kring and wife Kaitlin; daughter, Amy Goins and husband Kyle; twelve grandchildren; sister, Sharon Vandewater; three brothers, Donnie Kring and wife Joy, Robby Kring and wife Nikki, and Denny Kring and wife Beth; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
