In Loving Memory of James Dewayne Jessee

James Dewayne Jessee, age 57, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

James was a hardworking man who spent part of his life working in the coal mines and later as a car detailer. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

In his free time, James found joy in gardening, fishing, spending time with his sons, and being with his companion, Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Jessee; his father, Samuel Jessee; his brothers, Jeff Jessee, Bobby Jessee, Randy Jessee, and David Jessee; and his sister, Cindy Sexton.

James is survived by his sons, James Jessee and his wife, Tiffany Jessee, and Brandon Jessee; his grandson, Kaiden Ramey; his beloved life partner Nancy Waddell, his brother, Brian Jessee; his sisters, Anna Sue Jenkins; Betty Calton and her husband, Dale Calton; Amanda Minkles and her husband, Teddy Minkles; and Debbie Kilgore and her husband, Junior Kilgore. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in the memories James leaves behind and the love he shared throughout his life. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

All services will be private.

James will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
