Proverbs 31:10  Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Ina Slemp Meade, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

Ina was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord. She attended Indian Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired employee from Wise County Social Services.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Avner and Vivian Hubbard Slemp and a brother-in-law, Roger Freeman.

Surviving are her husband Everette; daughters, Beth Dingus and husband Bobby and Teresa Powers and husband Steven; grandson, Patrick Boggs; great-granddaughters, Cara and Reiley; sister, Elizabeth Freeman; beloved hound dog, Boone and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ina Meade will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Chris Strange and Rev. Joel Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hubbard-Stapleton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA.
