Hubert Lee Powers, 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November27, 2023 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Lee Dotson Powers, his parents, Teddy "Fiddlin Ted" Milton Powers and Flora Lee Mullins Powers; brothers, Kenneth Powers, and George Powers; sister Mary Nell Myers.

Survivors include son, Joseph Powers of Huntsville, Alabama; sister Betty Sturgill of Coeburn; brother Kyle Powers of Chesterfield, Virginia; half-sister Sharlett G. McClara of North Fort Myers, Florida; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023, 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA.
