NORTON, VA.                           JANUARY 24, 2022

Helen Dianne Mays, 57, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at her home.

She was a loving wife, mom, sister and friend.

She was an employee of Heritage Hall Health Care in Wise, VA where she enjoyed caring for others and she had a heart as big as the universe.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Stella I. Absher; brothers, Gary Absher, Wayne Absher and Lewis Absher; and sisters, Mary Absher and Gladys Fogarty.

Surviving are her loving husband of 27 years, Teddy Mays; daughter, Linda Mays of the home; step-daughters, Tammy (Dennis) Dutton, Tina (Teddy) Christian and Glenda Mays all of Wise County; sisters, Nancy Absher and Sharon Absher of Big Stone Gap, VA; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and her fur babies that she adored.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
