Hailey Nicole Barker, 31, of Cameron, NC, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

She was born to Steven (Keith) and Donna Barker on November 26, 1993 at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA, where she lived until her family moved to Cameron, NC in 2005.

In December of 2014, she gave birth to her pride and joy, her daughter, Scarlett Adelaide Schroeder.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lester Gerber of Dover, DE.

She is survived by grandparents, Roger and Betty Barker of Wise, VA, and Jeff and Geraldine Hardee of Magnolia, DE; as well as her parents, Keith and Donna Barker of Cameron, NC; her sister, Heather Barker, of Fayetteville, NC; and her sweet daughter, Scarlett Schroeder; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Hailey Barker will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Roger Barker and Pastor Nathaniel Maggard officiating. Burial will be in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. till time of services at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
