Goldie Jewell Reed Evans, 97, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center Christiansburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon "Bush" Evans, daughter, Linda Evans Sabo, infant daughter, Darlene Evans, grandson, Michael Sabo, parents, McKinley & Effie Reed, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Surviving is her daughters and sons-in-law, Gail & Alex Tucker of Radford, VA. and Evelyn & Eddie Phillips of Castlewood, VA. and sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce & Zoe Ann Evans of Castlewood, VA. and Rick & Carolyn Evans of Coeburn, VA., sister, Joyce Bond of Monroe, S.C.; brothers, Larry Reed, James Mack Reed both of Coeburn, VA. and Harold Reed of Cincinnati, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, her faithful Fur baby of 7 years, Snoopy. A special thank you to Bruce's son-in-law, Chris Harmon.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 22, 2022, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA.  Graveside Service will follow with Rev.
