Geneva Marie Adkins Bolling, 63, traded her body on earth for her glorified body in Heaven on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Geneva was born in Norton, VA. She graduated from Clinch Valley College in 1983 with a degree in liberal arts and science. On August 4, 1984, Geneva married the love of her life, Mark Evan Bolling of Pound, VA. She was a devoted teacher of third grade at Norton Elementary and Middle School for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Betty Mullins Bolling of Pound, VA.

Geneva is survived by her husband, Mark Bolling; daughter, Tayler Nicole Bolling of Wise, VA; her parents, Julian and Shirley Adkins of Wise, VA; father-in-law, Morgan Bolling of Pound, VA; siblings, Valencia Hebert (Michael) of Weaverville, NC and David Adkins (Kara) of Big Stone Gap, VA; sister-in-law, Cathy Maggard (Tommy) of Salem, VA; brothers-in-law, Gregory Bolling (Eddie) of Alexandria, VA, Joshua Bolling of Greeneville, TN; niece, Caroline Goode (Todd) of Tampa, FL; nephew, Sean Hebert (Lauren) of Leesburg, VA; and nieces, Juliana and Rowan Adkins of Big Stone Gap, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
