Gary Ray Baker "Mouse", 66, of Wise, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Big Stone Gap, VA

Gary was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a 1975 graduate of Pound High School and a 1980 graduate of Clinch Valley College in Wise, Virginia. Gary was a retired mine clerk of Paramont Contura and He attended Indian Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Pound for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Evans Baker.

Surviving are his mother, Jennie Baker Hash of Wise, VA; son David Timothy Baker and a grandson Gage Jaxton Baker of Coeburn, VA; sister Diana Freeman and husband David of Wise, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Gary Baker will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Reverend Rusty Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of services at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
