Faye Marie Hughes, 87, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, in the Ridge Crest Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Duffield, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Nixon Sr., and Thelma Powers Nixon; two brothers, Johnny Nixon, and Buddy Nixon.

Surviving is her husband, Billy Hughes, a son, Danny (Theresa) Hughes, two daughters, Melissa (Samuel) Trent, and Melinda (Earl) Strouth; four grandchildren, Kayla (Robert) Carver, Hunter Strouth, Tyler Trent, and Ryan Hughes.
