Everett James (E.J.) Mullins Jr., 70, of Wise passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA.

Everett loved to watch old westerns, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with family. He worked most of his life in the septic business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Clara Mullins; sister, Burdella Stidham and several grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Susie Mullins and step children; his children, Jake Mullins (Bridgette), Jessica Mullins (Rodney), Jennifer Mullins, and Julie Bates (Jarrod); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepmother, Ruchelle Mullins; brothers, Larry Mullins (Juanita), Leon Mullins (Sharon), Bernard Mullins (Kay), Carroll Mullins (Tammy), Terry Mullins (Misty) and Brian Mullins (Latisha); sisters, Inez Mullins, Frances Large (Jack) and Susie Roberts (Dennis); nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for EJ Mullins, Jr will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. with Pastor Allen Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Everett Mullins Cemetery in Wise. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon till time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
