WISE, VA.                                    SEPTEMBER 19, 2021

Emma Jean Beverly, 92 years old went to her heavenly rest on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was a hardworking homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister & friend to many. She had a kind, gentle spirit.

Granny, as she was known by all, will be greatly missed but our memories with her will hold us up until we reunite with her in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darrell Beverly.

Surviving are daughters, Darlene Clevenger of Kingsport, TN and Frances Bevins of Wise, VA; two grandchildren, Emily Compton of Church Hill, TN and Bill Bevins & wife Tara of Franklin, TN; three great-grandchildren, Maggie Bevins, Ella Kate Bevins and Mattie Compton and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank special caregiver, Dana McConnell, Amedysis nursing staff and Junior Lane, who kept her laughing.
