Elmer "Buddy" Lucas, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Buddy was a kind, giving soul and a Veteran. He loved the Lord, his family and his animals.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Erby and Marie Goins; sisters, Katherine Brooks, Margie Goins and Freda Powers; brothers, Danny Lucas and James Lucas.

Buddy leaves behind his wife, Diane Lucas; daughters, Tenia Brown, Geneva Williams, Genifer Lucas, Rose Garcia and Regina Lucas; son, Junior Lucas; step-daughters, Heather Ison, Tara Hensley and Bridget Hensley; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Greenwood Chapel Baptist Church, 135 Nickelsville Hwy  Nickelsville, VA 24271 with Brother Donnie Archer officiating.
