Elmer Jake Justice, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2025 at his residence with his loving family.

Elmer grew up in Clintwood, VA and later moved to Alexandria, VA when he met the love of his life, Brenda Sanders. They later married and moved to Wise, VA where they raised a family. Elmer's joy was his wife and two sons. Elmer and Brenda were married 59 years. Elmer was a U.S. Army Veteran and a former employee of the Wise County School System.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Edison and Nona Elkins Justice; loving granddaughters, Allison Mullins and Halee Sanders; sisters, Eleoise Adkins, Judy Haynes and Mary Shephard; brothers, Luther Justice, Gene Justice and Roger Justice. Elmer was the last of his siblings to enter Heaven.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Brenda Justice; sons, Mickey (Gwen) Justice and Mark (Rhonda) Justice; grandchildren, Brandon (Celle) Justice, Jeremy (Liz) Justice, Alicia (John) Taylor and Anthony Justice; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Noah, Aubrey, Jaxon, Addison, Anni, Caroline, Ally, Kerrigan, Ava, Kiley, Jake, Gabrielle and Faith; Goddaughter, Leann Farmer; special like grandchildren, Bailey, Adrianne, Tamera, Kamden and Collin; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Elmer Justice will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. Burial will follow in the Sanders Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. till time of services at 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
