Elizabeth Kay Hamm Meade, 75, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Norton Community Hospital Norton, Virginia. She was a member of the May Town Tabernacle Church Coeburn, Virginia and was a graduate of the St. Paul High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Amy Hamm, and several siblings.

Surviving is her husband, Donnie R. Meade; two sons, Machelle Meade and his companion, Kimberly Davis of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, and Donald Lee (Tricia) Meade Coeburn, Virginia ; one brother, Glenn Hamm of Coeburn, Virginia; two sisters, Jane Reeves of Wise, Virginia and Iris Eddy of Los Angelos, California; three grandchildren, Haley Meade, Tyler Meade, and Aiden Meade; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 30, 2025, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Va. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Alvin Meade officiating. Graveside Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, January 31, 2025, in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, Virginia. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday at 10:15 A.M. to line up and go in procession to the cemetery.
