WISE, VA. APRIL 24, 2023

Elizabeth Addair, 65, entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

She was known as Momma, Nanny and Momma Liz. She was a ray of sunshine that could brighten any room.  She loved everyone and was always there for the ones she loved. She was known for having a smile that never faded and was a nursing assistant for many years. She loved to cook, take care of her garden, drink her coffee and was always up for an adventure. She had a huge heart, was compassionate, kind and resilient. The greatest joy of her life was her daughter, grandchildren and her great granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Roxie Dean; stepdad, Wilburn Dean; twin baby boys; daughter, Amanda Cox; two sisters, Spring Pridemore and Teresa Balthis.

She is survived by her daughter, April Roberts (Michael); granddaughters, Tiffany Deel (Devin) and Emily Roberts (John Fisher); the joy of her life, great granddaughter, Harper Deel; brothers, Ricky Rose (Roseann) and Orbin Rose; sisters, Dolores Rose and Gail Meade (Bobby); a very special niece, Cindy Brown and along with many family, friends and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Addair will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Ed McLain officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise. Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Kilgore Family Cemetery, Wise, VA. Burial will follow.

Family and friends will meet at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
