NICKELSVILLE/WISE, VA.                     APRIL 26, 2021

Edna Fern Reed, 77, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

She had attended First Church of God in Wise, VA before moving to Nickelsville, VA and was presently attending First Baptist Church in Nickelsville, VA.

Fern was a former employee of Wise County National Bank, First Commonwealth Bank, and retired as Assistant Vice President of First Bank and Trust in Wise, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Macel "Zella" Hubbard.

Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Reed Wallace and her two sons, Gavin and Asher of Nickelsville, VA, Rana Ann Reed Brace and her daughter, Lizabeth of Nickelsville, VA and Tara Reed Horne and her son and daughter, Ryan and Abby of Nickelsville, VA; two brothers, Foy Hubbard of Wise, VA and Randall Hubbard and wife Mary of Wise, VA; sister, Macel Holloway and husband Donnie of Signal Mountain, TN; also several people that were special to her, Laura Roark and her daughter, Makinley of Nicklesville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Edna Fern Reed will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Steve Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
