Douglas Allen Freeman, 49, of Wise VA, passed away on February 24, 2022 at his home on Green Hollow Rd.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Caudie and Clara Robinson; uncle, Carter Ray Robinson and special cousin, Roger Wayne Robinson.

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Freeman; children, Cody (Kristen) Freeman, Jacob (Kendra) Freeman and Alexis Freeman; step children, Kameron Beverly and Kierra (Trevor) Hayes; grandchildren, Emory Jacob Freeman, Lainey Quinn Freeman and Alice Victoria Freeman; mother, Lonnie Mae (Maxine) Freeman; father, Conley Darrell Freeman; brothers, Jack (Mary) Beverly and Scott (Rhonda) Beverly and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Freeman, Cody Freeman, Dalton (Moose) Cress, Daniel Beverly, Kameron Beverly, Jack Beverly, Peyton Beverly, and Austin Beverly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Emory Jacob Freeman, Larry Robinson, and Scott Beverly.

Funeral services for Douglas Allen Freeman will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Billy Hibbits officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
