Douglas F. Adams, 76, went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2026, He was surrounded by his loving family. He loved his family and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Pauline Collins Adams, sister, Mary Ann Harris, and brother, Harold Adams.

Survivors are his loving wife of 52 years, Kathy Hale Adams; son, Mark and wife, Rebecca Adams; son, Brock Adams; brothers, Sam (Shirley) Adams, and David (Lynn) Adams; many nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind many friends, and his wonderful church family.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn. Memorial Services will follow with Pastor Charles Jibber Ward officiating. The family request that Memorial Contributions be made to the Coeburn Methodist Church PO Box 696 Coeburn, Virginia 24230.
