Doris M. Smith, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the American House Kingsport, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolas Clayton and Emily Sargent Smith, his wife Anna Joyce Smith.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force and was an Electrician for many years, and attended the Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Wise, Virginia.

Surviving are three sons, Russ (Rhonda) McConnell, Von (Carolyn) McConnell, and Scott (Maria) Davis; a sister, Etta Stafford; several other friends and other relatives.

Military Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Pole Bridge Road Wise, Virginia with the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and the Local VFW conducting service.
