Doris Ann Baker, 86, gained her heavenly wings Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Heritage Hall in Wise, VA.

She was born in Jenkins, KY.

She was of Christian faith, a member of the Red Hatters and the Garden Club. She worked for Morton Thiokol at Kennedy Space Center from 1984-1996.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Kenny Ray Baker and Shawn O'Neal Baker.

Surviving are her son, Charles Richard Baker of Palm Bay, FL; two daughters Tammy Denise Pelham of Norton, VA and Angie Hayes (Danny) Pound, Va; four grandsons, Bobby Branham (Amy), Charles Branham, Craig Hayes (Hannah) and Shawn Hayes (Ashley)  and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the nurses and especially the CNA's at Heritage Hall for taking care of their mother.
