Donald Patrick Slone (Donnie), 48, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 surrounded by his family at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Donnie is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Fields; his sisters, Candy Barnes and Heather Slone; step-father, Pedro Meade.

Donnie was very outgoing and hilarious. He loved fishing with his son Gavin Slone. He loved nascar, Kansas City Chiefs, and any variety of music. If you knew him, you knew he was all personality and could make anybody laugh.

Donnie is survived by his dad, Stephen Slone; step-mother, Goldie Slone; his children, Katlyn Slone, Abbygale Slone and Gavin Slone; Step-sisters, Amber and Misty; Nephews Tyler, Grayson, Shane, Mason and Jared; Nieces Kaitlyn and Tori; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Donnie Slone will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Jeff Reynolds officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5:30 PM till time of services at 7:00 PM Thursday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
