COEBURN, VA              JULY 15, 2022

Don Stanley, 66, passed away Wednesday, July, 13, 2022 peacefully at his home in Coeburn surrounded by his loving family.

Don was of the Baptist faith and belonged to the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. He loved listening to good gospel singing and preaching. He loved his family with his whole heart.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bea Stanley; brothers, Bill, Earl, Bobby Joel and Jimmy Stanley and a sister Diane Addington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jedena Stanley; daughters, Sandra Collins, Donna (Darren) Brown, Heather (Shannon) Bunch, Hollie Short and Heather Smith; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Greta) Stanley and David Stanley; sisters, June (Jerry) Strouth, Carolyn Strouth and Betty (Brent) Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers; Buddy Young, Merle Phillips, Michael Robinson, Mark Young, Brody Strouth and Hollie Short.

Funeral services for Don Stanley will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA with Willie Stanley and Bill Craft officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA. Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 18, 2022 at Strouth-Lane Cemetery Pound, VA. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 A.M. Monday at the Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA to go to the Cemetery in procession.
