Denward “Deano” Johson beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2026 at the age of 82.

Deano was married to the love of his life, Patricia Arnett Johnson, for sixty years. They were blessed with two sons, Paul (Kim) Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents Diamond and Buril Johnson. 

Deano was a man who found joy in the simple things in life—spending time with family and friends. Of all his roles in life, being a grandfather to Kaitlyn and Corbin was one of his greatest joys. He treasured every moment with his grandchildren and took great pride in watching them grow. Whether he was attending their activities, sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying their company, his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.

Deano had a lifelong love of golf. Many happy hours were spent on the course with friends and his sons. He enjoyed not only the game but also the fellowship and laughter. For him, golf was about much more than a score—it was about enjoying the day with his sons and the people beside him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that they will unite with him again. Until then, his love, laughter, and memories will remain with them forever. Deano has played his last 18 holes of golf on earth. He is now ready for his 19th hole with his Heavenly Father.
