Denver Ray Reeves, 78, devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA.

He was a retired Coal Truck Driver and Brick Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Richard and Lydia Roberts Reeves and a brother, Ronald Reeves.

Surviving are his loving wife of over 50 years, Janice Reeves; two sons, Kenneth Reeves and wife Renee and Wesley Reeves and Karrison Marcum; a daughter, Jessica Reeves and Ryan Stidham; grandchildren, Justin and Linzy Hale, Jordan Reeves and Chloe Baker, Alison Reeves, Marissa Bell, Anna Bell and Gemma Stidham; great-grandchildren, Finnley Hale and Marcie Hale; a brother, Hubert Reeves and wife June; his "little buddy" Memphis; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Denver Reeves will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, Va with Pastor Donnie Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Family Cemetery Wise, Va. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, Va.
