Deborah Lynn Gibson, 62, entered into Heaven's gates on October 27, 2021, where she was reunited with her darling husband.

Debby was a devoted wife, loving mother, and Mimi. Her life passion was helping others. She was a founding member of Sandy Ridge Rescue and Sandy Ridge Fire Department. Debby was a 1978 graduate of Ervinton High School and a 1989 graduate of Wise County Vocational and Technical School where she earned her LPN degree.

Debby was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith and loved to spread the Lord's words with others. She was an inspiration to many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie B. Gibson, parents Bobbie Jean Mullins and Columbus Junior Mullins, a sister, Cynthia Mullins, various aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Debby is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Missi and George Phillips, grandchildren who was the center of her world, Zoë Phillips and Eli Phillips, brother and sister-in-law Arnold and Juanita Mullins, several nieces and nephews, special friends she regarded as her sisters, Teresa Mullins, Christy Schwinn, Maralene Davis, Becky Ford, and Sue McDonald, as well as a host of other special relatives.

Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Boggs Family Cemetery in Pound, VA with Pastor Lester Mullins officiating.
