David Winebarger, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by those who loved him the most.

David was a loving father and a great friend. He was always willing to help anyone he could. Since he was a little boy, loved to coon hunt and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. David loved his family and his children more than anything.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Winebarger, his mother, Burita Winebarger, sisters, Shirley Hall, Thelma Bise, and Linda Lawson, brothers, Albert Winebarger, Bobby Winebarger, and Stevie Winebarger.

Surviving is two sons, Brad Winebarger, and Brady Winebarger; daughter, Megan (Matthew) Hicks; brothers, Roy Lee Salyers, Danny Winebarger, Bud Winebarger, and Jimmy Winebarger; sisters, Lois Couch, Nancy Waddell, and Kitty Coleman; granddaughter, Gracelynn Hicks; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 6, 2022, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ernie Addington officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, Virginia.  Family and friends will meet at 10:15 A.M. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
