Darrell R. (Dipper) Stanley, 79, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his home after a long illness.

Darrell was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He retired from Presley Trucking Company.

Darrell was preceded in death by an infant son Christopher Michael Stanley; his parents, Oakley and Pauline Cox Stanley; two sisters, Janice Calhoun and Rhonda Clark; an infant brother, Errin Walker Stanley and his father-in-law, Curtis Breeding.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 60 years Phyllis Breeding Stanley; two daughters, Gina Wheatley and husband Greg of Lebanon, VA, Candi Fields and husband Kevin of Whitesburg, KY; son, James Darrell Stanley of Wise, VA; his precious mom-in-law Helen Breeding whom he loved very much and his beloved furry child, a Shih Tzu doggie named Bella, his constant companion; five brothers, Robert Stanley and wife Jean, Harold Stanley and wife Patti, Doug Stanley and wife Thelma, Randy Stanley, Donald Stanley and wife Delilah; four sisters, Barbara Jones and husband Jerry, Markeda Wampler and husband John, Donna Sloce and husband J.M. and Dedria Hall and husband Steve; a host of other relatives and friends.
