Daniel Lee Dale, 79, passed away peacefully Monday, April 6, 2026 at his home in Wise, Virginia.

He was born in Wise, VA, lived in San Diego County for several years and lived in Wise for the past twenty years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Dale; and son, John Dale.

Surviving are a daughter, Katina Alcantara; three grandchildren, Patrick Alcantara (Kimberly), Rebeckah Alcantara and Molly Dale; a great-grandson, whom he loved and adored, Elias Alcantara; sister, Trula Bangert; brother, Roger Dale; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His wishes were to have no services and to be cremated.
