Daniel Coy Bowen, 73, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Heritage Hall Health Care in Wise, Virginia.

He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Delores Caudill; father, Coy Henry Bowen; and a sister, Patsy Brock.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 53 years, Sharon Bowen of Norton; daughter, Patricia Bowen of Norton; sons, Randall Shane Bowen of Norton and Daniel Bowen and wife Lori of Norton; his grandchildren that he adored, Drake Bowen, Trevor Bowen, Alena Bowen, Naomi Torres, Hayden Bowen, Haley Bowen, Connor Bowen, Caleb Bowen, Zoe Bowen, Khloe Bowen, and Andrew Shelton; a brother, Sanford Hamilton and wife Darlene of Norton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside committal services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for services.
