Dana Hurley, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. after a long illness.

He was a U S Army veteran and a retired coal miner.

Dana was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Church Hurley; two sisters, Cassandra and Wanda; a brother, Ricky; and a grandson, Nicholas.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Hall Hurley; daughter, Tabitha Still and Yonnie Charles of Mobile, AL; son, Lucas Hurley and wife Beverly of Nora, VA; granddaughter, Holden and Ryan Such of Wise, VA; two grandsons, Derrick Hall of Wise, VA and Isaiah Hurley of Nora, VA; one great-granddaughter, Ava of Wise, VA; sister, Nina Justus and husband Larry of Lebanon, VA; two brothers, Darrell Hurley of Laurens, SC and Gary Hurley and wife Natalie of Laurens, SC; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends and his friends from the mines, Bens Creek, Mingo Logan and Mountain Laurel, all in West Viginia.
