Dallas M. Meade 81 passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home. He was a retired employee of the Pittston Coal Company as a Welder. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Buena Dotson Meade; a sister, Sharon Meade Harvey; and his wife Janice Lorraine Meade. He was a graduate of Coeburn High School and attended the Bond Town Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving is his son, Steve M. (Sue) Meade of Vienna, Missouri; two daughters, Yvonneda K. (Dennis) DeLache of Schererville, Indiana, and Theresa (Tessa) G. Meade of Coeburn, Virginia; a brother, James (Bucky) Allen Meade of Coeburn, Virginia; a sister, Jean (Edward) Meade Carter of Lowell, Indiana; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 9, 2021, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA.
